Working with our High Schoolers to plan for the future

This year we took a group of our grade 11 and 12’s to the Uni Fair, hosted by Clarendon High School. This gave the children an opportunity to meet with student advisors from many universities and tertiary institutions from around the country.

Phelisa Soxujwa, Coach for our high school learners says, “This was definitely a worthwhile experience. The learners were all eager to absorb as much information as they could and the presenters were friendly and able to answer most of the learners questions.”

Linako (second from the right in the picture above), a former African Angels learner now enrolled in grade 11 at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls says,

“Going to the Uni Fair was exciting and interesting. I had an amazing opportunity to learn about different universities and what they offer. It also helped me decide which type of career I would love to follow in future and what I need to be able to pursue that career path.”
