Ikhwezilomso Educare
Ikhwezilomso Educare is a nurturing place of safety where children of our community are given the opportunity to thrive and improve their futures. African Angels provides the lead teacher with pedagogic support, mentoring and salary support, and the Founder with fundraising support.
Ikhwezilomso educare...
We are working with the community to improve education from the earliest age. Ikhwezilomso provides an all-encompassing, safe, nurturing early childhood education and care centre. Enabling members of the community to go to work knowing that their children are well cared for in their absence. The current Centre is housed on a small plot in a tin shack which is unsuitable during rain and high winds. Together with the founders we are working to build a new, safer ECD Centre on a new, larger, secure plot.
African Angels Days for Girls Social Enterprise
Our sewing project employs women from our community to sew reusable, washable sanitary pads and beautiful tableware: Keeping girls in school and creating income for our community!

African Angels Days for Girls Social Enterprise...
We believe that providing quality education to financially disadvantaged children is the most effective way to drive social and economic change in South Africa.
Our Days for Girls Enterprise focuses on keeping girls in school by providing them with washable sanitary pads and comprehensive menstrual health and hygiene education.
Our social enterprise also empowers women by employing them in the production of the kits, by educating communities about menstruation and by paying a portion of profits to the African Angels Independent school.
