ABOUT US
Our work has IMPACT
Our vision
… is for each child to reach their full potential and grow into fine South African citizens.
Our mission
… is to equip each child with sound values, educational and life skills, insight and character, in order to become mature, stable and productive members of society allowing them to reach their full potential.
Founder & Chairperson
In 2008, Lou Billett established African Angels Trust as a registered, tax deductible charity based in Chintsa, South Africa to oversee the sponsorship and education of particularly disadvantaged local children from rural townships in the wider Chintsa area.
Her passion for equitable education for the children in her local community has made her an invaluable member of that community.

It just wasn’t fair that the socio-economic background of a child would determine the education they could access, and limit their opportunity for success.
Something had to be done!
