From the Principal’s Desk

There are many days when the teachers hear me say, “Make sure the children rule off after their work”; ”The cursive s needs to close”; “make sure your fire register is behind your door.” or “why is that child wearing that?”

There must be days, I’m sure, when they roll their eyes at me, or at least feel like rolling their eyes at me. But on days like today, when we have such an important Umalusi visit, I could not be more grateful that I get to work with the team we have at African Angels.

Everyone pulls together. I can always rely on someone to step in to help – every one of the staff will take on extra load to get the job done.

I leave school today with a feeling of great thankfulness, secure in the knowledge that we have an incredible, committed team who will go to any length for the good of the school and the children in it.

Thank you is just not enough!
