Welcome to our new class teachers
At the beginning of term we welcomed two new teachers to our staff and wished good luck to two of our assistant teachers who have now have a class of their own.

Mrs Dube is our new Grade 3 teacher – she is a very experienced teacher with a passion for helping children to develop holistically, not just academically. She is going to fit right in here at African Angels where our children’s circumstances dictate that they need more all-round support than children who live in wealthier communities.
Miss Mvalo is our new Grade 4 teacher – She qualified in 2020 and this is her first non-assistant post. She is excited by the welcome she has received from both the staff and the children. She has previously taught in big city schools and she is excited to be able to bring her experience to support and guide the African Angels as they face the same pressures.

Miss Goodall takes over Grade 1 – This is Miss Goodall’s 4th year at African Angels. She is a well-established member of staff and has fully subscribed to the Visible Learning approach that we take to teaching.
She is so excited to have her own class and is looking forward to bringing her unique creativity into her lessons.
Miss Scriven takes over Grade R – Miss Scriven has been on the staff of African Angels for 5 years. She came to teaching as an outlet for her passion for helping and caring for children. She understands that the children at African Angels need more than the average child at school – they need reassurance and confidence building to be able to achieve their best.
