From the Principal’s Desk
May has been a busy month as we embark on delving into areas of interests that our learners have. Three of our learners auditioned for a production that the Institute for the Performing Arts will be presenting. All 3 were chosen! Thanks to Debbie and Fanie for offering to take them to rehearsals. Thanks to Emma Rankin, some of our learners’ artwork is being exhibited at the ELFest 2022 Art Eisteddfod. Their artwork received 3 golds, 3 silvers and 2 bronze!

We have also been taking part in the Inter Schools Cross-country with a few of our learners. Such exciting afternoons watching and cheering them to the finish line. We have some good runners in the African Angel team! Each week we see some of them placing in the top 3. I love seeing their uncertainty at the beginning of a race turn into such confidence at the finish! I’m also so proud of the character our runners display which is worth more than any win!
I always have and always will believe that our children can do anything!
“Life is a lot like running. In order to win, you have to be consistent and determined.”
May our learners always be consistent and determined in life.
