Guardian African Angels – Update

Our first Guardian African Angels are busy writing the trial exams this month and matric later this year – we wish them luck and know that the characteristics that they were taught at African Angels; tenacity, resilience and courage will guide them to achieve their best!

 Sponsored High Schoolers fly high!

Huge opportunities are opened for the children of Chintsa East when they are able to get a good quality primary school education.

One example is Ahlume – his sponsor very generously agreed to continue to sponsor him through high school after he graduated from African Angels. This, and his own hard work, lead to him being accepted into Queens College in Queenstown.

Acceptance to a quality High School such as Queens College has opened many doors for Ahlume, one of which was an introduction to pole vaulting. He has since grown to love the sport and during a recent Triangular Athletics meeting with Dale and Selborne Colleges, he cleared 3m to qualify for the Queens College First Team for Athletics.

We are so proud of Ahlume’s achievement and so grateful to his sponsor for giving him this opportunity to succeed!
