Where we are African Angels Budget Accommodation and Adventure is located some 41km North of East London at the African Angels Independent School. The centre is situated on a safe and protected 34ha property in Chintsa East and is an easy 10km drive to the beach.
The property is located on Byletts Farm and was the previous site of Byletts High School. The site is now operated by the African Angels Independent School and has large, basic dorm style accommodation facilities in a lovely quiet rural setting.
Accommodation and facilities
  • Dorm style accommodation (shared) for up to 175 people are available.
  • (Minimum 30 ppl, maximum 175 ppl)
  • Single beds with bottom sheet and pillow with pillow case are provided.
  • Other bedding and towels are not supplied.
  • Rooms and bathrooms are serviced daily.
  • Our accommodation is rustic, secure and clean.
  • Shared bathrooms (separate male and female) with showers / toilets and hot water.
  • Accommodation @ R50 pp per night.
Conference and other facilities
  • Toilet block outside the hostel (male and female)
  • A large sports field and two jungle gyms suitable for children.
  • Conference hall with chairs (100) @ R500/day
Outdoor Adventure Outdoor adventure activities can be organised and are run by qualified and experienced staff either on site or on the Chintsa Beach and Lagoon. Your safety is our priority and lifeguards will be on duty for all water based activities. Contact us for more details and pricing.
Other Activities There are many other activities that your group can participate in the areas (less than 15km drive from the centre) including:
Game drives, surf lessons, horse riding on Chintsa Beach, quad biking and more. Prices and details can be arranged on request.
Staff Cleaning staff are on duty during the day to clean the accommodation and bathrooms. On site caretaker and contact person for the duration of the booking.
Catering Self catering kitchen with gas cooker, sink and freezer is available for your use.  Bring your own gas bottle for the duration of your stay.
Security The property is fully fenced and is in a rural area near Chintsa East. There is an onsite caretaker. All accommodation and classrooms are fitted with burglar bars.
Payment 50% payment required (non-refundable upon booking)
50% total five working days prior to arrival.
