African Angels Days for Girl Update

Posted on Posted in community

It’s over a year since we began the founding of the African Angels Days for Girls (DfG) Enterprise so we thought we’d give you a quick update on our progress.

We have donated over 500 packs to girls in the Chintsa East community and via schools to girls as far afield as Qolora and Thorn Park. Feedback on the quality and ease of use has been excellent.

We have more donations planned for April so watch this space!

Monica and her family have been using the pads for a year and she says,

“The quality is excellent, they are comfortable to use, never leak and are really easy to clean – I just put them in my normal hand washing and they are still looking good today.

The best part is the money I am saving by not having to buy disposable pads.”

Where to find our washable reusable pads

We are now distributing our washable pads in more stores – Lime Fusion, SPARGS, Crossways SuperSpar and Hey! Clay in Chintsa East – in addition to our online shopify store

We are diversifying

Our team of 5 sewing ladies is also enjoying our latest venture – we are sewing table cloths and table runners in some really funky materials – check them out at Hey! Clay (Chintsa East), Ginger & Co (East London) and online at our Shopify store.
