African Angels introduces the iSchool Africa Press Team. Through their involvement learners critically engage with current events and with ideas, taking part in identifying newsworthy stories, researching and gathering relevant information, creating story outlines or plans that involve structuring a coherent storyline.

The formal CSR relationship between NVest Financial Holdings (NVest) and African Angels School started in 2020, but the connection and support between the two organisations started a few years back where staff members were involved in the “sponsor an Angel” initiative. In December 2018, staff member Nathan Carr organized a raffle within NVest, which was so well supported by the staff that the proceeds covered a two-year school fee sponsorship for little Iviwe, who was in Grade 1 at African Angels School.

We will be hosting our annual Golf Day at the East London Golf Club on 10 September 2021. All funds raised will go towards providing a high-quality education to the primary school children in the Chintsa East area enabling them to become productive, employed and sound citizens of South Africa.
