African Angels Jobs Fund Project

African Angels has partnered with Seriti Institute and The Jobs Fund to provide access to employment and work-related training for the unemployed youth in Chintsa.

The 25 Chintsa Youth selected, are working part-time for 6 months in either the African Angels Independent School, the Ikhwezilomso Early Childhood Development Centre or the Chintsa East Drop-in Centre. Each person was placed according to their interests and abilities and will be supported with on-going training.

The Seriti Institute recently spent two days training some of the African Angels’ Jobs Fund youth. They learnt about thinking on their feet, team-work and how being active keeps the mind stimulated. They are excited to put what they have learnt into practice.
